hi there,

never had problem with my mbp until today. had it more than 2 years.
my battery health is 89% and cycles is 87.
i mostly use the mbp with power plugged in. and today i've used it on battery for like 10 to 15 min, and shut itself down without warning. the battery was on 85% or more.
i always get around 4 hours on battery.

when i plug to the power, it doesnt do that.
so i think the problem would be the battery.
just don't understand why the battery suddenly have problem.

please do you have any suggestion?

Reset the SMC. Instructions in the following link under CHARGING. Also, make sure your battery is properly calibrated. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
Also, it's not a good idea to run on AC power all the time. Your battery needs to be used to stay healthy.

it's working ok now. Thank you very much GGJstudios.
i didn't know all this about battery.
it will help me to take care of the mbp battery in the future.

i thought my macbook pro got jealous because i was looking at the new imacs.
but still love it. ahaha
