Sorta found this forum out of sheer luck but it looks like a good place to kill a couple of years off my life:D

Im looking for a replacement screw for the left side of a MBP A1150, ifixit.com sells a screw kit for around 50bucks but all I need is 1 screw and wondering if their is a cheaper alternative:confused:

Pic is attached along with the void that will never be complete

You're not going to be able to find single screws for sale. on eBay, screw kits are running for around $30. If you can find the size of the screw from some sort of data sheet you can buy similar screws probably in packs of 100 for fairly cheap (~$1-2) if you don't mind minor aesthetic incompatibility.

LOL. when i applied a new thermal paste on my old mba rev A. i lost one screw, i remembered that i had a broken canon ixus digital camera, and i took the screw out of it and put it on the macbook air, not as shiny as the other screws but it did a good job, even made my right case macbook air not creaky anymore. LOL.
