Hey guys,

I recently bought the basic 2012 macbook pro model, before that I had the white one from around 2008. This is the first time I have set a password for log in to my macbook, but I doubt it has something to do with the following problem that I hadnt experience with my old macbook.

Whenever I try to wake my macbook from standby after lets say more than 2 hours this screen appears and it takes a while for it to load completely for me to type in the PW

would be nice if someone knew what the problems about...

Only happens to me when mine runs low on battery (though not necessarily down to 0%). I think it's from writing the ram data back from the hard drive to the ram itself.

hm I always have my battery on charge.. I had this on my old macbook when it ran out of battery and I recharged it and then opened it after it was completely empty..

Deep sleep aka hibernation.
Could you please share the results of pmset -g (in Terminal) from your machine?
