If I tether my iPad to my iPhone and my rMBP is in the area, I guess it will connect to my phone also and stay connected to the internet, which is a problem, because if my rMBP is my backpack it gets really hot. I don't understand why it does it when I turn on my hotspot, because it doesn't do it with other WiFi connections. Turning off the WiFi on my MacBook when I turn on personal hotspot solves the problem, but I usually forget.. is there a fix?

Your post is a bit weirdly worded, but if I get you right, disallowing your computer to wake for network access would likely fix your problem.

I was in a hurry and didn't read over it.. I think that fixed it though, thank you!
