Hi,
I have a relatively new MacBook Pro 2017 15 inch + touch bar, I bought it about a 1~2 months ago.
I usually work on it the whole day and then put it to sleep (Screenshot attached) before I go to sleep.
Sometimes, no always but frequently enough, the MacBook doesn't recover from the sleep, but rather just reboots, and then I get this message: https://pastebin.com/ui3mqaNx (Screenshot attached)
It MacBook then resumes to work normally but it can be quite annoying since I have to reopen all of my apps.

I tried to read the error message but I don't understand much.
Please help, Thank you.

Call apple and schedule an appointment for them to look at it. The issue may be a hardware problem.

Sleep wake failure. Do you upgrade to high sierra? Many complaint this after upgrade. If yes, just reverse back to Sierra. Because this was not an easy fix. Good luck

Do you have any peripherals connected? I had this problem when an external hard drive was connected, but now after I don't connect it I don't have the issue anymore.

Yes, I have upgraded to High Sierra, but it was a month ago, the issues started around a week ago.

It's new. Take it in to Apple. That is not normal behavior.

Yes, lately I've been connecting my HDMI monitor via an HDMI to Type-C adapter.
I think this is the problem...

I've noticed that it takes time for Mac to switch from High Perf. graphics back to Integrated after I disconnect my monitor,
and I suspect that the problem occurs when I put the computer to sleep while it's still on High Perf. graphics.
I tried to avoid doing that in the past few days, after I disconnected the monitor, I waited for around 20 seconds and only then I've put it to sleep and it seems to be working, the Mac wakes from sleep normally.

I think this was the problem but I'll keep updating.
Thank you.

The switch from dGPU to iGPU when disconnecting an external monitor. It has never been a very "clean" process and sometimes does result in hangups. I sometimes have to close the MBPs and re-open the display to get things to work properly.

Good luck to you. I been experienced this on my old MBP and this symptoms very complicated because it very random. It could happen 5 day or 15 day or even 2 days. So you need more time to make sure it never come back.
