This can't be normal behavior. Everytime I restart, whatever CD is in the optical drive comes out. Very annoying. Any way to stop / fix?

Any chance you're holding down the trackpad or mouse button when you're restarting? And how often do you restart? For many of us, restarts are very infrequent... maybe once a month or so.

Every month or so, or when software makes me.

No, I use an external keyboard and mouse, and nothing is being touched/pressed.

meh even though I love apple cd drives, I hate apple cd drives. The one in my white iMac doesn't eject half of the time.

But does it eject everytime you restart? (Btw it ejects during the startup sequence... aka, after the computer has shut down)
