Macbook Pro start up problem :S

I have a 13 inch macbook pro and everytime i boot up the machine, it takes me 3 trys, the first try gets stuck on the grey screen with the apple logo, the second try gets stuck on the blue screen following the grey screen and the third time is..... a charm. i looked in my console and it tells me - ALF error: cannot find useragent 1102. what does this mean. don't tell me to bring it to apple because i did, this was a symptom among others that i needed apple to repair for me, but this one persists
