When I start up my MacBook Pro, more often than not, the mouse cursor won't allow me to click anything open. The cursor moves over icons and links but when I click, nothing happens. I have to reboot once or twice before I can click to open something. It happens whether I use a mouse or the track pad. Any ideas for a solution?

Thanks

I've been having this problem too. It only started happening after I reset the PRAM. It takes a few restarts to get it working again. I tried unplugging and and replugging in cables that connect the motherboard to the trackpad and and keyboard. That fixed it for a little bit but it the problem has come back.
