I have a 2010 MBP with an HDD and an SSD in the optibay.

When I turned on my MBP this morning to start it up, which normally boots from the SSD. I got the chime and it went to the screen with the Apple logo and with the loading dial, but after about 15-30 seconds (by which time its normally already booted up) the Apple logo changed to this:

going on for an indefinite load. I've never seen this logo at start up, so I'm unsure as to what the issue is.

I restarted and was able to boot up fine from the HDD (held option at startup), and I tried repairing the disk and permissions of the SSD from there, but that didn't help.

Anybody have any idea what the issue is and how I might be able to resolve this? Thanks!
