MacBook Pro startup issue

Hi

I have not used my MacBook for 6 months and now when I turn it on the graphics seems broken and the login line never completes.

I have tried many things but no luck, can someone help please?

You need to provide details if you plan to get help. What kind of computer do you have? What “many things” have you tried?

Do you have an Apple Store nearby? They’ll look at it for free and will provide more support than anyone else.

It’s a 15” rMBP, depends what year. The 2012s and early 2013s had issues with graphics failure, which would be consistent with this as it doesn’t fully boot into the OS (LCD failure would mean it still works, just looks odd).

As the poster above suggested, best to take it to an Apple Store for further diagnosis.
