Hey guys.
I have a problem that I hope someone can solve or at least explain.

About a month ago my MacBook Pro 13" 8,1 early 2011 wasn't able to start up, so I had to reinstall OSX. Prior to that I was able to run cs:go at about 60 fps.
After reinstalling it turned out my battery was dead so it had to be plugged in to run, and now I could only get about 20 fps with the same settings.
I tried different sorts of troubleshooting, nothing worked. I then reinstalled osx again and only upgraded to Mavericks this time, since it used to work with that. Still no improvement in fps.
Yesterday I tried resetting the SMC ram, and now my MacBook only shows an apple and a grey loading bar. After loading the computer turns off. I didn't get any indications on my charger light when resetting.
When it was working my activity monitor showed me, that when cs:go was running' gameoverlayui was not responding.

If anybody has a clue what the problem is and a solution I would be so grateful.
Also if anybody knows a way to get my Mac running again without reinstalling osx, that would be cool.

In advance thanks

- Kristoffer
