MacBook Pro Student Deal - No New Nano?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and was just wondering when or if the new Nano would be attached to the student deal on the website.

When you add the MacBook and begin to checkout you are given the option to buy a Nano for free* but they are still the old Nanos. Will the new ones be added?

It's the same every year. The back-to-school deal is to clear stock of old iPod models before introducing new ones. You'll be able to get the current models in the deal next year.

Exactly. The point of the promotion is to attract students to the brand and to clear out old stock using the promotion to do so. What is the point in flagging new stock in this way?
