Hi Folks,

Ever since i bought and downloaded OS X lion i've been having this annoying problem with my MBP. The thing is that my computer without no warning restarts, usually it happens a few times a day in no particular pattern, sometimes when i browse the web, using Word, drawing in Photoshop or playing games. My mac is a about 1 year old i've never had any other problems with it.

This is what happens: The screen freezes - a grey screen appear - a few seconds later the apple logo appear - then my background appear and all the programs restarts and all my work is deleted.

Yeah.. 100% sure that i unchecked it.. any other suggestions?

Might seem like a silly suggestion, but sometimes settings don't stick the first time with Lion. Try ticking, quitting System Preferences, and unticking again, just in case.

I'd try permissions repair, then reset SMC and PRAM, one after the other, just to see if that solves anything.

Finally, do you have an SSD? If you do, you don't want to have hard drive sleep turned on (see Energy Saver).
