I bought a new Macbook Pro 13" w/touchbar in February and it has worked great until now. Some days ago I locked the computer at 100 % battery, when I unlocked the computer it suddenly starts to freeze and things are going pretty slow. I tried to restart the computer, but when it comes back on I see that I only had 3% battery left. The computer was connected to power during this time.

I stopped using the computer and left the power still connected, when the computer was charging I noticed that it took unusual long time to charge. The timer said it would take about 24 hours to charge to 100% again.

I have tried to clear SMC and PRAM but it didn't help.
Before I deliver it to our local service point here in Norway, is there anything I could try first?

Looks like battery is broken. What a surprise. I'm also really disappointed with my MBP battery too. It has not yet done that yours did, but the battery condition data under load and operating times are poor for a new notebook in 2019.

Are any apps or processes running wild "in the background"?
Using up a lot of power "behind your back"?

I checked activity monitor and nothing suspicious was running in the background.
