Macbook Pro & SuperDrive?

Do you think Apple will eventually (year or 2) kill SuperDrive on MacBook Pro?

-Macbook Airs replaced Macbook (white) as the entry level Macbook.
-Mac Mini's dropped the SuperDrive.
-Mac App Store is taking over software retail.

or do you think they are going to make MBA so powerful it kills off the MacBook Pro line entirely?

They might, but not necessarily. The models that dropped the ODD are all ones that are marketed as extra small or extra portable. They could easily say that as a "pro" machine, the MBP would keep the disc drive.

Remember - for the average person, having a disc drive is a "feature".
