macbook pro tight hinge

Hi,

I cannot open macbook pro lid with one hand I would even describe it as hard to open, hinge seems to be too tight! I had macbook air before and hinge was softer, I could definitely open it with one hand...

Is this common with macbook pro 2014?

I'm out of warranty and thinking to pry it open and take a look. Any advice?

My 512 SSD 2014 13" hinge is fairly stiff, certainly you can't open it with one hand. Personally I don't think there is any issue and the display not move about in use on a plane or car etc.
