Macbook Pro to 30" question

Help! I just got a 13" Macbook Pro and I'm wondering what adaptor I need to connect to a 30" Cinema Display. Will a simple mini to DVI work? Or should I get the mini to dual DVI? Is there a difference in image quality? Thanks!

From what I understand, you need the dual link DVI in order to drive that resolution. It's not a choice/preference but a necessity at that resolution.
