MacBook Pro to 5.1 Surround Home Theatre System?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but, Is there an adapter i can plug in to USB or something to my MBP to connect to my 5.1 surround system by Digital Optical Cable?

Your headphone jack also has a mini optical connection in it.
