Macbook Pro to HDMI FlatScreen TV ??

I just got a new 50" inch Flatscreen TV with HDMI and Internet Capable
and want to connect my Macbook Pro to it...

What cables do i need to do this ?
Is there an HDMI to Mini Display Port Adaptor ?
And can sound go through the HDMI ?

Isn't there a specially made Cable that can carry sound as well ?

with all these solutions, you need an extra sound cable ??

How old is your MBP?
I believe Apple only added the ability to output sound thru displayport on the mid 2010 refresh.
I use a cablesson mini displayport to HDMI adapter and just plug the MBP`s audio output into my surround sound system.
