Hi,

I've got an incredibly annoying problem with my Macbook Pro.

I bought a new Samsung TV a couple days back (http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-ue32d4003-32-hd-ready-led-tv-11126514-pdt.html) and my HDMI won't allow me to connect.

I am/have been using this cable since August (http://www.amazon.co.uk/1-8m-Displa...C8R2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1326139511&sr=8-2) on a cheap Technika TV and it worked perfectly fine.

I have 2 HDMI ports on my TV and have my xbox connected to one so I switched around ports but this didn't work - so neither are faulty.

My Macbook flicks to the blue screen and back like it used to with my TV when it previously connected but this time it doesn't give me any options in system preferences > displays. It acts as if it isn't recognised.

On my TV it allows me to select the hdmi port (so it acknowledges that there is an hdmi plugged in) however it says "No Signal. Check connected device's power, cable cnnection, and source selection."

This is becoming a big annoyance.

Could somebody either provide me with some instructions on how to fix this or provide me with a link to purchase another miniport to hdmi cable that they have used and works on this specific model.

Thanks a lot!
