Macbook Pro to Vizio tv.

Is it posable to connect my "classic" Macbook Pro to my Vizio tv? If so what would I need?

Belive it or not, I have the same setup as you!
I use the DVI to VGA adapter that (I think?) came with the MBP. It is just a small square that plugs into the DVI connection on the MBP and screws in.
I had a VGA to VGA cable just laying around, and what do you know, the Vizio has a VGA input.
I would shut down your MBP, get this setup ready and power on the TV. Then boot up the pro and you're good to go!

Cool, that sounds great. I will have to try it out. How does the picture look on the tv?

How funny! I do the same thing, except I have a DVI to HDMI cable. The picture looks fine and is great for watching movies!
