Hey guys,

I recently dropped a coffee mug on my late 2011 macbook pro, and ended up denting in part of the case and getting a couple keys stuck ( ). I'm looking to replace this part of the laptop (the top case and keyboard I've been told), and was having trouble figuring out which replacement part to get.

I know that the model of laptop is A1278, but there is a large price disparity between replacement parts in this category. Is it necessary to buy a "late 2011 specific" top case (replacement part # 661-5871), or will any with the model number A1278 work?

Thanks!
