Macbook Pro Touchbar battery problems swap or not ?

Hi Group,

New to the forum so please go easy on me. Using a 2016 MBP with touchbar. Very disappointed with the battery etc, when in use iam only getting about 4 hours with light use of web browsing etc. Thinking of getting a 16 or 17 non Touch Bar model....whats everyones thoughts ?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I tend to use safari as i was advised that chrome can use the extra battery. no weird power hogs really. Ill try and post a pic

That screen shot says you have 7 hours battery left at 72%, that's bang on apples estimate.

Well no, using it will use the battery. However from that screenshot it is working fine as far as I can tell no post one taken while it is doing your usual workload to show where the energy is being used. The graph for the previous 10 hours shows a fairly intensive energy usage.

hi mate thanks for the reply. I will post a shot again tomorrow when iam doing some work on it. that screenshot this morning was taken after the mac had been sleeping for 12 hours and i had it on for about half an hour before it was taken

I have both, non touch bar will get about 11-12 hours, touch bar no more than 9
