Just wonder if anyone out there is having issues with their bluetooth?

Specifically I suffer from two consistent issues. Have deleted device profiles, repaired, forget device, etc. with no success.

Essentially the issue has two components.

Won't play nicely. By this I mean the laptop, and or that matter the iPad Pro, won't share a device, typically a headset for phone (Plantronics Voyager 5200) and B&O headphones. Devices are multipoint. Even when laptop is in sleep mode, it keeps the connection and will not let anything else connect to the headset.

Won't connect. I go through periods when I can connect neither the headset nor the headphones. Nothing I do will allow me to connect. Turn off the computer, on, delete profiles, etc. Oddly enough, when I have this issue I have tested with the wife's AirPods and the connection is immediate - even when not paired. . . .

The is the first time I have had this issue with Mac . . ..

This will remove all existing pairing information for Bluetooth devices, so each will need to be reconnected.

You need to have the Bluetooth icon showing in the menu bar. If it is not there, open System Preferences > Bluetooth and enable the option ‘Show Bluetooth in Menu Bar’.

  1. Hold down the Shift and Option keys (‘Alt’ on some keyboards) and at the same time click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar. Once the menu is showing, release the keys.

  2. From the Bluetooth menu, choose Debug > Remove All Devices.

  3. Repeat step one, then from the Bluetooth menu, choose Debug > Reset the Bluetooth Module

  4. Reboot your Mac, then setup your bluetooth device as normal.

Good evening.

Thank your for your assistance. However, have done this on a number of times. All to no avail. In fact, one device even after removing all devices continued to show in the menu.

Oddly enough, even my bluetooth keypad I now use, as I can not seem to find the integrated keypad centred on the "K" key, is linked AND active even if put the laptop to sleep.
