MacBook pro touchpad issues

So I just bought a new MacBook Pro and am having issues with the trackpad. I'm sure it's just me, possibly a setting I can change, but randomly when I'm viewing websites the page will shrink in size. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm touching some part of the trackpad and accidently doing some gesture that I can't find. It's not the ctrl+two finger zoom, it's just within the window in Safari. If anyone can help me out, I'd be eternally grateful.

I think this covers your problem:

On a Multi-touch trackpad you can pinch out to zoom in and pinch in to zoom out.​

Thanks, that was it. I didn't know pinching worked on webpages. I must've been doing it inadvertently.
