Hi guys,
I have a MacBook Pro mid 2014 with a processor with the base clock of 2.2 GHz frequency and ability to turbo boost up to 3.4 GHz.
When I try to push it to the limits in order to see the turbo boosting ability using Cinebench it doesn’t stay at 3.4 GHz but goes back to 3 GHz after around two minutes even though I have plenty of temperature buffer. The core temperature is at around 80 C degree when frequency goes back to 3 GHz.
Why do you think this happens? Is there something wrong with my Mac?
