Hi there
I have my plasma tv connected via the DVI-VGA cable from apple. It works perfectly fine, ie I can watch movies etc from my mac on it, everything works great.
The issue though; when I'm using my mac and the tv is on, I cant get the desktop to be all 'normal', I can move the pointer out of the screen, making it somewhat tiresome to access my widgets from the lower right corner of the screen, as I dont see the pointer. I have to physically unplug the dvi-cable to remove the extended desktop, or turn off the tv.
Isnt there a way to disable the dvi-connected tv from the mac os ? In system prefs I can only drag the tv desktop/extended desktop around my mac monitor, and if I set them to Dual mode, my resolution falls down.
