I've had an external hard drive for a while and occasionally had errors with it, but I just tried to back up a new batch of photos and I keep getting Error Code 36 - some data in the file is unable to be read or written. It doesn't matter whether I copy them as a group or individually, nothing's working. I even tried with a pages document to see if it was just photos, and NOTHING will copy - error every time. The drive is formatted in FAT32. It was originally in windows and I reformatted it using a windows program, no partitions. Originally I used it on a restricted mac that wouldn't let me install any software, so I've always just dragged-and-dropped files, which has worked fine until now. HELP PLEASE!
