so today i noticed what looked like a group of dead pixles right in the middle of the screen but i couldn't tell for sure so I grabbed my microfiber cleaning cloth and tried to brush it off. well it stayed there so then i blew air on to my screen creating fog. i could see the marks from where my keys had been when i shut my screen. try it. i want to know if this is normal or not?

The marks from the keys or the dead pixels?

After a certain amount of dead pixels, Apple will replace the screen. For marks on the screen from the keyboard, I have read reports of this happening on some, not all, new unibody macbooks.

I have the Moshi Clearguard on my keyboard, and even with that, the keys do not touch the screen.
