Hi there!

Recently my windows partition got corrupted and I couldnt access it anymore. So I deleted it all and tried to reinstall windows by creating a partition with bootcamp. It didnt work as bootcamp couldnt recognize the installation DVD.

Then, with the partition already created, I tried to boot the macbook via DVD so I could normally install windows in the partition I had already created.

The problem here is that when I press C or hold option and select the DVD, it freezes at a black screen. Nothing happens and I have to reboot it. No matter what I do. I hve already tried to set the disc to initiate the system, Ive already repaired permissions and verified the disc.

Nothing works at all.

And remember, I have already installed windows this way. The superdrive reads other discs with no problems!

Any thoughts?!
