Hi all,

I've had my 2017 TouchBar MacBook Pro for a couple years now and never had an issue with the keyboard. Last week, for the first time, the "x" key started acting strange. I would sometime press it and would not respond or I would press it once and it would give me two inputs. I made a Genius Bar appointment with the intention of getting the keyboard replaced but after having the problem for a couple days, it just went away.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yes, it typically comes and goes until it comes and stays.

Or, you may have gotten lucky and it’s just a piece of dirt that worked its way out of the way.
