Hi, does anyone know when there may be new updated macbook pros out? If so, roughly when?

Do some research and you'll find that no one ever knows when things are going to be released. When rumours are true it is also normally a fews days before the actual release.
 
Nobody knows when they are coming out.
I got sick of waiting and I ordered a refurb MacBook Pro on Saturday. Getting something for 400 pounds less is more enticing than having a computer that's maybe 10 percent faster.
Choice is yours, but I am thrilled that I took the plunge. Should be at my door on Wednesday! :D
 
I know when they will be out...


... as soon as Apple announce them, its not like a PS3 where they are announced 3 years before they come out, the great thing about Apple is most things are out when they are announced.


But come on Apple, please hurry up i'm waiting!

This was the cases w/ the macbooks if i remember correctly, right? Didn't some apple store employee mention he saw boxes in the back that said don't open until tuesday, may 5th?

Does anyone know if the apple stores usually get their new products before they're officially released, so they can be on the shelves right when the announcement comes? Was this the case w/ the merom imac? I'm just curious if we have the potential of getting a heads up a couple days before new MBPs come out.

But Steve Jobs came to me in a drunken vision last night and said that the MacBook Pro would receive a Quad Core update TODAY!!!!

Check out any of the other threads on this SAME EXACT SUBJECT and you might get some really bad guesses on when.

i use to be one of those that was waiting and anticipating the update but i needed a new comp so i settled for the current MBP... no regrets here, this baby ROCKS! if you need one now, get it now.. the move to 64-bit isn't all it's cracked up to be... the current MBP won't be obsolete any time soon
 
they come soon we all hope. no one has info.

although the retail channel around the world is starting to dry up of MBP & MB UNITS.

so... this means new models coming soon. prob within 2 weeks. we have the Xmas sales period coming. so... they will ship very soon.
