MacBook Pro upgrades

I bought the 13" 2.4GHz with 4GB memory. My question is, are there any cheap upgrades to add to these machines? tia

There isn't a whole lot that you can mess with aside from the hard disk and RAM.

Keep in mind that if you have 4gb installed, you actually have two 2gb sticks (rather than one 4gb stick and an empty slot). So if you do want an additional 4gb of RAM, you have to get two 4 gb sticks and replace your existing 2gb sticks (sell on eBay, maybe?).

Understood. Would this increase performance speed recognizable to the normal eye?
