MacBook pro USB stopped working?

I have a early 2011 MacBook Pro 13 inch. Up until today everything has worked fine, but now the back (closest to the screen) USB port stopped working. I have plugged in several different things that worked in the other port but not in the back one. What could couse this, and how can i fix it? Thanks for all the help!
