I have a MacBook Pro with multi touch pad and unibody. I just don't remember when I got it or what exact model it is. What's the best way to find out it's value?

'About this Mac' will tell you which generation the machine is. (in the Apple menu).

Then simply check eBay, Craigslist etc for the same model...

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge. Then adjust your price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.
