MacBook Pro Vibrating...?

I had accidentally deleted the application "Automator" from my MacBook, and so I decided to reinstall it using the Applications disc that came with my laptop. As soon as I inserted it, my MacBook started making noises like crazy and vibrating.

I'm guessing this is the fans making the noises, but is this bad for it? Should I eject the disc?

I have the April 2010 2.4ghZ 13" model.

That's the superdrive. It gets pretty loud and will vibrate like crazy, especially with disks that aren't perfectly balanced (which virtually none are)
