Macbook Pro VS PC laptop

I'm in need of a new machine and I'm whether the MBP or 15" or a cheap Windows laptop would suit my needs more?

But my gripe with PCs is the cheap build quality and lack of OSX; the crap battery life and it feels like the PC laptops are going to fall apart.

Why are your decisions between a 15" MBP or a cheap PC? I just bought an alienware m14x for 1400 that will smoke a fully spec'd macbook pro. Its build quality is excellent. I turned off all the fancy lighting because its annoying.

Of course you are going to get ****** build quality if you buy a cheap PC.

Sup pointless thread. Why even ask if "lack of OSX" is a concern?

Anyway, you could buy a Windows laptop that isn't cheap and crappy. They do exist ya know, despite what a lot of people on this forum think.
