Hello.
Just bought a 13" Macbook Pro Retina (2014 model) and I am noticing that the images/pictures on Facebook take forever to load, if not load at all. I am on wifi (which runs well with my mobile device) and I use Safari. Is this normal? Does this happen with other Retina users? Is it because its a Retina computer pictures load very slowly? Thanks.

Probably because OSX Yosemite sucks and is a laggy mess because Apple can't optimize worth a damn. Does it happen on Chrome or firefox? hows your signal strength? try a speedtest yet?

This has nothing to do with "Retina". Safari load pages a bit slow as compared to Chrome. Try using Chrome.

I have Yosemite + Safari without any of the symptoms you mentioned. Its fast for me and those that are having issues have done something else to their systems that is causing this. What did you guys install on your system ? What changes have you made ? etc
