Trying to use a Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mobile mouse on my MB Pro /TB. I can use it fine with Bluetooth, but I can't seem to get it to work wired. I use an adapter because the ports are USB-C. Is this why it's not reading it? Has anyone, who has this mouse, gotten it to work wired? Researched online to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

I use this combo and it seems to work well both using the unified receiver or bluetooth

Plug and Play doesn't seem to work when I try to use it (non-Bluetooth enabled) as a regular tethered mouse. On the drivers/software, it only allows me to use Bluetooth or the unified receiver, both wireless. It won't let me use it as a plug in mouse.

I have a Gaming wireless mouse which I used for my windows laptop that I also now use on my MacBook. It uses a dongle for wireless not bluetooth and I have no issues using the adapter with my 2017 MacBook.

I have the MX anywhere as well but never used it wired with this only bluetooth and never had an issue.
