Looks like an issue with the backlight in the display. On an older model I'd suggest replacing the inverter, but I don't believe they even have those anymore. You may just have to replace the screen.

Do you have AppleCare?

I have sent it to the apple store, the 'genius' said what they can do is to change the whole screen, but it costs a lot, one new screen=one new iPad, and unfortunately i didn't buy the applecare.

The inverter is one component of the screen? or one part of the logic board?

Thanks~

The inverter is what powers the screen backlight. On older models it was connected to the logic board. Newer models are using LED backlights, which I'm pretty certain don't use an inverter.

Unfortunately it looks like you're may need a new screen.

I'd suggest trying a PRAM and SMC reset to see if that helps.
