Ok, first of all, i would like to say that i ahve searched this problem on a lot of sites and have not found a similar problem... ): i tried calibrating the screen but it doesnt help.
Overall, the screen seems to have a darker tint to it, a sorta unsaturated feeling to the colours. The logos (on firefox tabs) do not have hte same brightness, and white texts seems gray.
I use adium as my messenger and the once orange tabs are now a mix of really light yellow/green/grayish colour, and the red busy logo is now brown...
in adium, when i text (my text colour is a orange colour) turns yellowish brown as well, but when i press enter (when the other person can see it), it changes back to orange. i tried moving it around the screen so it's not the screen problem...
i googled the colour orange and the colour shows up fine, but most programs on my mbp seems to suffer from this issue.
the dashboard colours are affected as well -- the orange calculator logo is a light orangeish brown too...
I have a dual screen (connected by a vgi cable), and the colours are affected on that screen too...
i feel like my laptop is now very gloomy ):
oh, one weird thing happened 2 startups ago: i was playing a youtube video, and had to leave.
when i left, i closed the macbook's screen (because it would automatically sleep), but sound kept playing. I ignored that and when i came back, i couldnt turn on my screen (but when i adjust the sounds (F10, F11, F12), i could hear it. I had 2 manually restart my computer because both screens were completely black.
How do i fix this? is this a software problem?
