Hey people... I just bought my new MCP 2.2 SR and Ive just realized that I only have 91 gigs available instead of the 120 advertised... is this normal? I havent installed anything else except for Firefox and MSN...

Thanks:confused:

your 120gig hard drive is 111gigs formatted. minus 10 gigs for OS X, 5 gigs for jam packs, and 5 gigs for applications is 91.. Sounds about right to me..

and you really don't need firefox. this isn't a PC.

Sounds about right. Formatted capacity of that drive is probably only around 116-119 gigs. Couple of gigs for ilife, other programs (office trial?), all those garageband loops, etc.
