Hey guys, I recently bought a new MBP.

Earlier today, I was browsing the internet when all of a sudden my screen went black. I could see and move the arrow/cursor but the screen was just black. I closed my laptop and opened it but that didn't do anything so I held the power button which made it go to sleep mode and when I hit the power button again, it took me to the login screen.

Now this has only happened once but is it something I should be worried about?

As a general rule, if it only happens once, it's a one-off thing which could happen at any time and isn't really cause for concern.

I believe I've experienced this once although waiting long enough got me back to normal - if memory serves, I was using cmd+h to hide a game running in full-screen but not in its own space, and the machine didn't load the Desktop. As I said, waiting fixed the issue for me.
