Hi guys I have a MacBook Pro, 2009 model and I’m having trouble booting it up, or even reformatting or installing a new os to it. I just get a white screen when doing anything.

I’ve tried resetting smc, pram, tried loading into recovery mode but that white screens after I connect to wifi and it tries loading to it, I’ve tried reinstalling via bootable usb, that just loads and then white screens. I’ve tried safe mode, again a white screen. Even verbose mode white screens.

I feel like it’s a hardware issue but I can’t even run a hardware diagnosis test as that white screens.

Any ideas? I think it’s hardware maybe?

Thanks!

13" or 15"?
Edit: actually whats the serial number on the bottom? curious if its even the 2009 as other years have issues that could cause you getting stuck on a white screen
