Hey,
I have a Macbook pro OS X 10.5.8 and I'm having issues with my wifi. Every time I open my laptop I have to join my wifi, even if it is one that my computer has joined numerous times. I took my computer to the apple store about this and the guy went into preferences>network>airport>advanced and clicked the 'remember wifi networks' option, hit 'okay' and then 'apply'. At the time, in the apple store, it solved my problem. However, as soon as I got home it was no longer working. I've double checked and the settings are still as such. This doesn't only happen on the wifi at my home, it happens literally everywhere and anytime else than that one time it conveniently worked at the apple store. This includes a number of familiar networks. I read that I should delete any 'remembered' networks that I don't use, which I did(narrowed it down to 5), to no avail.
I've never heard of this, nor have I seen it in anyone else's macbook pro of the same year-- anyone got any ideas?
