Hi guys so i recently just bought a new macbook pro baseline model with the 16GB RAM upgrade. i also bought a monitor so i could maximise productivity but when i plug the monitor in it lasts for about 5 minutes before the monitor stops projecting and blacks off and everything goes back onto the macbook screen. Also sometimes loading youtube or anything that is displayed on the monitor loads really slow like there is a problem with the wifi but there aint. i am connecting the monitor with a HDMI cord and a cheap kmart usb c adaptor. i cant figure what the problem may be. please help.
