Does anyone know if these upcoming machines with ivy bridge processors would be able to support more than 16gbs of ram than the current pros? I know this sound ridiculous but I use my macbook pro for huge large format photoshop work(billboard design Ect..) and Im always on the go. Thanks Blake

As the current MBPs (early and late 2011 models) have a chipset supporting 32 GB RAM, it is fair to assume, that the successor of that Sandy Bridge architecture will be able to have at least the same RAM specifications regarding the maximum amount.
But there are no 16 GB modules out there yet.

32 gbs! Wow thats awesome. Thanks man. I think I'm going to get a 2011 refurbished 15" quad core macbook pro and sell my 2010 I7. Do you know if the refurbished macs have scratches at all?

Buying a 2011 will not get you 32gb ram today; as previous poster said, there are no 16GB modules. The most you can pack in to an MBP today is 16GB (2x8gb). Presumably there will be 16gb modules soon, but they are likely to be very expensive.

What if there's no 17" model when the next MBP refresh happens?

How would I get the 17" anti-glare I need through Apple? I wouldn't be able to get an anti-glare model if say Apple drops the 17"?
