Hi, i live in the UK so im unsure about USA tax rates.

Im going to New York this weekend so i was wondering how much in total would the $1999 macbook pro cost with tax and student discount (if they do it instore?)

Thanks

I think you will have to have a US school address

You may be right, but i do have an NUS extra card with is also an ISIC card (international student identity card)

Im lookin for just the tax rate of the NEW YORK, Manhatten

will there be any issues if i buy a Mac in America and bring it into Canada?
Are you Canadian?

If so, you might be able to get the US tax back as a rebate.

You'd have to pay GST at the border on that part of the value that is over your personal traveller's tax exemption. I don't know whether you'd have to pay PST.

If you are not Canadian, but are staying in Canada... I don't know.
