MacBook Pro with Optibay and TM Backup

Hi guys.
I found a open 500GB external HDD so I decided to make this as my TimeMachine Backup disk.
Couple months ago, I replaced my drive with 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD in my optibay for storage.
I personally do not want to make a TM backup for the 1TB drive.
I just want to create a backup for my SSD only.

However, my TM setup tries to back everything up including my 1TB HDD.
(So it would be a 128GB+1TB backup)

Obviously I dont have enough space to put all of that in a 500GB.
Is there a way to make TM only backup the drive in main bay (my 128GB SSD)?
And not make it recognize the 1TB HDD in my optibay?

System Preferences > Time Machine > Options > Exclude these items ...
