Greetings to all. I have an issue with a MacBook Pro I just purchased. I am trying to install the latest version of Leopard onto my mac and when I get to Select a Detination "Where do you want to install Mac OS X? " There is nothing in the box to select. Not sure what to do or why it is not giving me a destination to choose from. Thanks in advance.

what about ubuntu? was this bought from someone else, and it arrived with linux on it?

if so, reset pram, hold control - command - p - r at boot.

The put the leopard disk into the drive, reboot and hold c.

go to disk utility, and repartition your drive. If you have no drive listed, then you have a hardware problem.

Then try and install leopard.

Boot using Leopard disk.

Open Disk Utility
Left pane: click on 149 gb (or something like that),
go to Partition, click options, select GUID partition Table.

:) Thanks to everyone who replied. I was able to figure it out on my own late last night. I surprised even myself. It runs beautifully. I am now officially switched from the dark side to heavenly bliss of my Mac!!
